Open Corner
Design Requirements: 90 degree opening with an open corner.
For many design solutions, more openness is achieved by being able to completely eliminate any corner post between two walls meeting at 90 degrees when opened. This is possible with certain configurations of some of the folding and individual panel sliding systems. A "moveable corner post" is attached to one of the panels that meets at the corner.
Sometimes, using a serpentine or curved wall provides a more pronounced openness. The "curve" is achieved by using segmented angles between panel(s) as desired. This is possible with certain configurations of some folding systems and individual panel sliding systems.
Another option as shown are 135 degree angle turns.
