We attended the Princess Margaret Show Home press preview event in Ontario, Canada last week, for a sneak peek of the home before it opened to the public.
The stunning home in picture-perfect Oakville has the right combination of modern mixed with traditional flair. A blend of rustic, sleek, and industrial décor creates a comfortable overall feel in the 6,500 sq ft residence. Designed by Lynda Reeves and The House & Home design team. Some of our favorite features of the home include: -the huge kitchen with a large marble island -the rustic furniture, including the pile of wood next to the fireplace, combined with bright pops of color -large industrial front doors let in lots of light -landscaping in the front and back, perfect space for entertaining -a large NanaWall that creates a transition between the great room and the outdoors (of course!) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TMwNxTewry4 In the video, Lynda Reeves takes you on a tour of the great room. The NanaWalls come in at about 3:30. Impressive right? If you’re in the area, swing by and visit the home yourself. It’s now open to the public, starting Saturday September 8, 2012. Open weekdays and weekends. Order tickets for a chance to win the sweepstakes. The Oakville Show Home will be the grand prize for one lucky winner. Plus, all purchases go towards the Princess Margaret Foundation, funding advancement in cancer research in Canada. It’s truly a great cause.
