Features

	Acoustical Performance The SL70 system has been tested by an independent acoustic lab for acoustical performance. The SL70 with insulated tempered glass achieved STC and Rw values of 32 and with STC 47 insulated laminated glass achieved STC and Rw values of 45.
	Dual Color Option For the SL70, the option of different finishes on the inside and outside is also available; see "Finish Options" in the General Introduction.
	Running Astragal, Floor-Mounted System This system is ideal for applications where load-bearing capability of the header is a concern. The system's main weight is carried by the floor track. The upper-track is merely a guide. The lower-running carriages ride on top of the sill track and lie above the water run-off level. The running astragal design allows a floor-mounted system even with a flush sill.
	Florida Approval The SL70 system is Florida statewide approved with Product Approval number FL 6859. This information can be viewed at http://www.floridabuilding.org. (Not approved in HVHZ zone.)
	Hardware Options For the main entry panel, several locking options are available. The profile locking cylinder (if any) on the main entry panel is Schlage-compatible.
	AAMA 506-06 Hurricane Impact Rated The above test units with insulated impact glass, are rated per AAMA 506-06, "Voluntary Specifications for Hurricane Impact and Cycling Testing of Fenestration Products." The inward opening unit met the performance requirements for a +55/-90 psf Design Pressure with missile impacts corresponding to Missile Level D and Wind Zone 4. The outward opening unit met the performance requirements for a -55/+90 psf Design Pressure with missile impacts corresponding to Missile Level D and Wind Zone 4.
	Life Cycle Tested-AW In European life cycle testing (more exacting than AAMA 910-93, with 10,000 cycles instead of 2,500 cycles), the inward opening SL70 had no damage to fasteners, hardware parts, or any other damage that caused the system to be inoperable, and air infiltration and water resistance tests did not exceed the European standards that are similar to Gateway Performance Requirements for Hinged Glass Door, HGD-55.
	Monumentally Sized Design Options This system offers monumentally-sized panels: frame heights up to 12'0" and panel widths up to 3'7" are possible. See the Maximum Size Chart on Page 3 for possible maximum height and width combinations. Heavier and/or thicker glass, such as bullet-resistant laminated glazing, can also be used.

	NFRC-Approved Thermal Performance / Energy Star The SL70 inswing and outswing models with all sill options have been rated, certified and labeled in accordance with NFRC 100; see "Performance and Testing Results" for further details.
	Superior Thermal Break The system is thermally broken with a wide polyamide plastic reinforced with glass fibers. This thermal barrier provides increased strength, superior humidity control, improved acoustics, and energy savings.
	High Structural Performance (Hurricane rated) and High Weather Resistance The system is engineered to provide high structural performance and weather resistance, suitable for high-rise structures and buildings in hurricane areas. Inward- opening unit with raised sill and with optional reinforced locking rod tested to AAMA HGD-R55 915x2500 - no water entry even at 12 psf. This three panel 9'6" wide by 8'4" high unit tested to positive design pressure of 55 psf and negative design pressure of 90 psf. The outward opening unit with the same size and raised sill tested to AAMA HGD- R35 915x2500 with positive design pressure of 90 psf and negative design pressure of 55 psf. 	Complete, Coordinated Glass Walls With the SL joining system, complete, coordinated glass walls can be provided with various folding doors and folding windows combinations, individual sliding panel system (HSW or VSW), matching French doors, transoms, side lites, and corner posts; see the Matching Windows & Doors, HSW50 NanaWall® and the VSW35 NanaWall® sections.
	Choice of Finishes A choice of hundreds of high quality anodized and powder coated finishes is available. For thermally broken systems, the option of different finishes on the inside and outside is available; see "Finish Options" in the General Introduction.
	Outstanding Appearance European styling and handsome, sleek lines allow glass areas to be maximized. All folding and locking hardware is integrated into the profiles for a clean look and for narrow stacking. No surface mounted hinges.
	Design Flexibility Design freedom with custom sizes, thermally broken and non-thermal options, glazing choices, and monumental series for larger panels or heavier glass panes. Top hung or floor supported. Raised sill or flush sill options. A large selection of muntin layouts is offered. Horizontal mullions, SDL muntins with spacer bars, solid panels, or other custom layouts are available.
	Easy to Install, Complete System Easy to install with complete, precision built systems and pre-fitted hardware.
	Secure Multiple point locking that operates with a turn of a handle. The top and bottom shoots bolts between each folding pair of panels have a full one inch throw. Independent tests confirm that the locking system passes strict California forced entry testing requirements. No surface mounted flush bolts for standard units.
	Hardware Options A choice of different locking options are available depending on need. Different handle finishes are also available see "Hardware" in the General Introduction. Depending on the configuration selected, door closers can be incorporated and units can be prepared for panic devices provided by others. Custodial hardware is also available.
	Large Exterior Openings Are Possible With NanaWall® folding systems, openings can range from as few as two panels to as many as twelve panels and can be as wide as 36'. With paired panels, virtually unlimited widths are possible.
	Continued, Long-Term Satisfactory Operation Smooth sliding and folding operation, even when the bottom track has some dirt and sand in it. State-of-the-art hardware with ball bearing running carriages. On top hung systems, the main weight is carried by the head track. On floor mounted systems, the lower running carriage rides on top of the sill track. Variable interlocking of profiles minimizes expansion problems. Long term ease of operation with adjustment features.
	Multitude of Stacking Configurations Over fifty stacking configurations as well as inward opening, outward opening, or center pivoted options. Unhinged paired panels option for maximum stacking flexibility and larger opening walls. 90°, 135°, segmented or other angled units.
	NanaScreen^TM The NanaScreen^TM, a series of collapsible pleated screen panels riding a single track, is available as an option. The system can be installed within the opening or, with extended tracks, be hidden out of view when not in use; see the Screens section for more information.
	Engineered, Tested Systems from a Single Source Supplier NanaWalls have been engineered and independently tested for air and water penetration resistance, structural deflection, thermal performance and forced entry. The SL60 and SL70 are NFRC certified and labeled, and have also been tested for acoustic performance. The SL72 is Miami-Dade County hurricane approved and state wide Florida approved.
	Versatile Functions Versatile functions with swing entry/exit panel(s) option and with flexibility to fully or partially open. Ease of operation to quickly open or close wide openings.
