This one-of-a-kind home in La Jolla uses shipping containers and colorful NanaWall folding door systems to create additions to an eccentric home. Homeowner Rob Wells, coming from a family with a background in the window and door industry, knew he had to find the perfect, large folding doors for his home to create a fun environment for his kids.

“The first folding door that I ordered was not a NanaWall—rather a competitor. I dismissed the NanaWall believing they were ‘too expensive’ but quickly regretted my decision. The other doors sagged, failed to perform, and didn’t have aluminum cladding or custom color options.” When Rob ordered his first majestic violet NanaWall system, he knew he found the perfect folding door: durable, weather resistant, easy-to-use and fun.

From hot pink, orange, yellow, to purple, Rob has installed NanaWall systems throughout his home, office, and barn. The door systems play an integral role in his family coming together, and enjoying their indoor/outdoor arts & crafts and play time.

An innovative use of NanaWall Systems!

Where are the shipping containers? Love the color!

Absolutely love the colors, the concept & materials!

Beautiful area. No screen? Interesting color door

I would love to see how the doors relate to the containers, seeing that they won for a Radical Residential View.

Like how the colour of the doors adds to the amosphere of the space.

Its like an added room without the expense
