Understanding HPDs and EPDs

Health Product Declaration 

An HPD is a standardized report that discloses the contents of building products and associated health hazards. It provides transparency about what’s inside the product, helping architects and designers make informed choices for healthier spaces. 

Environmental Product Declaration 

An EPD is a third-party verified document that details the environmental impact of a product throughout its lifecycle, from raw material extraction to disposal. It uses Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) data to quantify sustainability performance.
