Flat-Out Amazing: Introducing the FoldFlat

By NanaWall Systems, February 4, 2014

Taking innovation to all-new levels the NanaWall FoldFlat, a new product breakthrough, allows folding glass door panels to fold and then pivot all the way back to stack out of and parallel to the opening. This large step forward in the operable glass wall industry allows for expanded functional and aesthetic possibilities and full usage of available square footage. “Over the years, architects have continually asked, ‘Can you design a system that can fold flat against a wall?’” said NanaWall Systems CEO Ebrahim Nana. “We are delighted to introduce FoldFlat as the solution to that need. This patent-pending technology allows for up to three panels on a side to fold entirely outside of the opening, creating additional space and wider sight lines.” Available in both aluminum- and wood-framed options, FoldFlat panels span up to nine feet, or 18-feet when paired on either side of an opening. With the FoldFlat system, beautiful views are highlighted as the angle of view is increased because the panels are stacked beyond the actual opening. FoldFlat can also be used for windows, and in NanaWall’s award-winning Kitchen Transition. FoldFlat is available for NanaWall’s SL45 (aluminum) and WD65 (wood) folding systems. Making its debut at the International Builders’ Show in Las Vegas, Feb. 4-6, 2014, FoldFlat is available now!
