At this Washington home, the deck was designed by Odd Lot Design to be an extension of the kitchen with a striking, curved wood framed folding glass door. Despite its small footprint, the kitchen now feels larger and more connected to the outdoor.
For this kitchen project the decision was to install a folding window/wall combination to give the homeowners the indoor/outdoor kitchen and entertainment area flexibility they desired.
