Slimmest Profile with Minimal Aesthetics
With the slimmest aluminum frame of the NanaWall folding product line, the frame profile is styled in a crisp, angular design. The intersection of two folding panels is a mere 3 7/8″ (99 mm). This floor supported system offers an extremely streamlined appearance with minimal exposed hardware, creating a new level of aesthetics.
Exceptional Energy Efficiency and Weather Performance
Designed for energy efficiency and strong weather performance, this thermally broken aluminum framed folding glass door provides exceptional protection from outside elements and delivers comfort and security when closed.
Custom-Built Architectural Solution with Limitless Configurability
As a custom-built architectural solution, systems are available in inswing or outswing configurations and open corner designs. Capable of creating openings of unlimited widths, floating panel sets can be stacked in the most convenient location for ultimate flexibility.
FourFold and SixFold Panel Sets are able to move and stack either to the right, left, or center within the same track allowing the panels to be stacked in the most convenient location as needed.
Floor supported systems are ideal for applications where load-bearing capability of the header is a concern.
- Provides long-term durability and smooth operation.
- Control construction costs. Requires less header load and limits the need for extensive pre-cambering.
- Improves likelihood of keeping existing header when retrofitting/remodeling.
To accommodate easy access, swing panels can be added either to the end of a chain of an odd number of panels folding in one direction or hinged to the side jamb, depending on unit height and configuration.
NW Aluminum 640 allows for up to 3′ 3″ (1000 mm) swing panel hinged to the side jamb. Swing panels have been tested and passed over 500,000 cycles and can be optionally outfitted with higher kickplates for ADA compliance, panic hardware, and top door closers by others.
Three Sill Options with High Heel Resistant Feature
NW Aluminum 640 has three sill options: Performance, Low Profile Saddle, Low Profile Saddle with UniverSILL®. Standard to all sills is removable aluminum high heel resistant inserts. These inserts provide ADA compliance for the Low Profile Saddle and create barefoot-friendly transitions. Also, the inserts offer protection from dirt and debris collecting in the bottom track.

Unique Roller Design for the Smoothest Operation
The running carriage rolls above the water table on two stainless steel wheels with a unique Gothic arch design supported by a double row of ball bearings. With a 2-point contact of each wheel to the floor track, the system glides quietly and smoothly with less friction by providing an equal distribution of weight on the stainless steel track.

Over 90 standard configurations for straight-forward folding systems.
Standard configurations show the most common way folding glass wall panels align across a straight opening. Panels operate in a continuous line without special conditions such as corner openings, wall pockets, or intersections, making this layout a clear starting point for planning straightforward openings.
View More Standard Configurations View Product Applications
FourFold or SixFold panel sets use four or six connected folding panels operating along a single track. Panels move and stack to the right, left, or center, allowing flexible positioning based on layout and access needs.

Window-door combination configurations integrate folding windows and folding glass doors within the same opening or wall plane, enabling independent control of daylight, ventilation, and entry. Commonly used for indoor/outdoor kitchens, this layout supports flexible layout design and a clean, consistent visual flow across the space.

Cornerless (Open Corner) configurations remove the vertical corner post where two operable glass walls meet at 90°, allowing panels to open in multiple directions and create a fully unobstructed corner opening. This layout enhances visual openness, spatial flow, and flexible indoor-outdoor transitions.
All standard configurations are available in cornerless options.
View More Open Corner Configurations View Product Applications
Pocketing configurations allow glass door panels to slide fully into a concealed wall pocket, creating a completely unobstructed opening and maximizing clear opening width. This layout supports clean sightlines and seamless indoor-outdoor transitions while integrating directly into the wall structure.
View More Pocketing Configurations
Specialty configurations address architectural conditions that fall outside standard layouts, using custom engineering to accommodate complex geometry, structural constraints, or project-specific design requirements. These configurations enable advanced design flexibility for specialized interior and exterior applications.
